The Robber Zany Band is being labeled as a “new discovery” by musiczine.net.

The Robber Zany Band is een studioproject van een pak muzikanten onder Frans Willems. Muzikaal uitgangspunt: een variëteit bieden van pop, jazz en blues, doorspekt van een vleugje reggae en retrorock. De songs zijn melodieus goed onderbouwd, uitgediept en uitgekristalliseerd. Ze klinken kleurrijk door Hammond, organ en blazers, gedragen door de grauwe, emotievolle vocals van Yvo Heylen en vrouwelijke backing vocals.
